Don't Worry Ya'll....

So, I suppose my lack of blogging this week might concern my reading audience. (All 4 of you.) But, don't fear. I just haven't had anything inspiring to write about. There were a lot of things this week that I could have shared, but that I'm sure would bore you. This list includes:

-Why they Jazz like to loose to sucky teams, and then put up one of the best games of the year after almost losing the game in the first half.

-The fact that my bangs were so long and hanging in my face. I have since remedied this situation with a haircut.

-Why living in Utah is rather unluxury.

-I don't understand why people think I'm a b-rat. I really am not. I'm nice. But, people assume I'm like Cruella deVille. Whateva.

-Why I miss my bestest friend who is on a mission in Tennessee.

-How the weather can go from snowing to sunny and rather pleasant in one week. But, Utah is still unluxury.

-YouTube videos are absolutely hilarious.

-In 5 months I'll be a college graduate. That is luxury.

-My list of crushes has broadened. After my micro test this weekend, maybe I'll bring ya'll up to date.

-It might not be PC to google trailer park trash, but I did. And I found this hilarious website:http://www.mytrailerpark.com/ The funniest part is about the cousin Delores, who got her teeth knocked out from a hand-mixer. I seriously laughed for 5 minutes.

-Lastly, my infatuation with KK is starting to diminish. I still think he is a great player and he's definitely a cutie, but homeboy needs to step-up his game. This week during the games my heart belonged to Ronnie Brewer, he had the skills to pay the bills. If KK wants my undivided attention he's gotta kick it up a notch.

Later.

In a rut

It seems as if everyone has taken a break from blogging this weekend. That's ok, I will provide all of you with an amusing post.
First off I know that I am a slacker on the song of the day, so I will just suggest one song that I have been listening to all weekend, "The Next Episode" by Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg. You should listen to it, it's fun.
Second, Shannon promised to read and COMMENT on my blog if I put up a picture of the Jazz D-league star, Kyrylo Fesenko. So Shan, here you go. You had better leave me some good comments.

Also, I would like to comment on the current state of the Jazz. They lost to the LA Clippers on Friday night. The Clippers, come on. I don't really know what the deal was, but it seemed like they just didn't care about the game. I know it must be hard to play so many games, but this really was a winnable game, and there aren't many excuses for a loss against a sub-.500 team. The West is so close right now, and a couple of dumb loses like this could knock the guys out of the finals. I KNOW that the Jazz are a good team, in fact, a very good team. But, sometimes they just don't play like it. They almost blew it against the Hawks the other night as well. I just hope that the boys can keep playing like the winning team that they are. OK, that't the end of my rant.

Rain, Rain Go Away

So, I didn't sleep at ALL Tuesday night. I had a big test and 3 quizzes on Wednesday so I pulled an all-nighter. It was rather unluxury. The hardest part is I get so bored from studying, but there is absolutely nothing to do during the middle of the night.

Today the weather is very yucky. It's a rain/snow mix and really cloudy and gray. We need the sun to come out and play. Or maybe I just need to live somewhere where the sun shines more often. Hawaii sounds really nice right now. I told my dad that's where I want to go for my Graduation trip.

Today's song is "The Riddle" by Five for Fighting. For some reason it just fits. And since I didn't do a song yesterday, I'll also recommend "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" by U2. Ok, so listen to both of those. They're good for gloomy days like this.

I LOVE THE JAZZ

HOLY COW!!!!! The Jazz just put up a 77 point 1st half. I'm pretty much in awe right now. Deron is pretty much amazing. KK got a very cute haircut. I really should be studying for a test that ends tomorrow, but how could I miss this game? It's incredible.

Peter this would have been a fun one to watch together. Thanks for the phone call today, it made my morning! And in your honor, today's "Song of the Day" is California Love by 2pac. It's pretty much one of my most favs and it is also my ringtone. I heard it on my way home from the SLC today. It was luxury. Ok now I have to get back to the game.

You can call me a 'Playa'.............

But I think it is entirely appropriate for a 21 year old to have a long list of boyfriends. (Maybe one day I will post my entire list on here.) Enter Channing Tatum. He was in Step Up and She's the Man, and he's just really rediculously good looking. Plus, he has the sexiest voice. A nice, slow southern draw. Wow.

On another note, I think I shall start recommending a "Song of the Day." A song that I have been listening to, and that I think ya'll should check out.
Today's song is No One, by Alicia Keys.
So look at this nice picture and listen to this song, it might help you in becoming more luxury.

Check it Out

So my friend Stephen has a new song. Ya'll should listen to it, it's really good, and sad.
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=332943979
He put out an album over in Asia a few years ago and it was very good as well. He is a luxury singer.

Drunken Texting

I must start this post by saying that I was not, nor have I ever been drunk. But, you know when you get those late night texts and you wake up like "Where am I?" Well, this seems to happen to me quite a bit. The sleeping habits of young people without familial responsibilities are random at best. I try to get to bed by 11 most nights, but there are many nights when I'm up till 2 or 3 doing who knows what, usually studying. So, when I'm up late, I sometimes like to see if other people are up. I'll just send the "Hey dude" text. And at least 1 person will be up and willing to talk to me in the middle of the night. I feel guilty about texting people in the middle of the night, on the off chance that they might be asleep.

I'm usually pretty good about putting my phone on silent when I go to sleep, but sometimes I forget. And then, there are other times when I'm completely asleep and I'll wake up and check my phone. I did this last night. I went to bed pretty early, at like 10. Around 11 I woke up and saw that I had 1 new message. I opened it and it was from my friend Elayna (HI!) telling me about a date she'd been on. I was all excited for her, and I tried to call her, but in my sleepiness I couldn't figure out how to use the phone. I think I sent her a message back telling her to call me tomorrow, but this morning when I woke up all of my outbox messages were deleted. Interesting.

So, the point of this long, boring post is just for me to say that if you contact me during the night, who knows what will happen. I've had friends call at like 4 in the morning and I've had entire conversations that I couldn't remember the next day. I've heard that texting while drunk is a bad idea, I would like to add that texting while sleeping is also detrimental.

On another side note, I found this cool website online for a local magazine for college students. http://schooledmagazine.com/magazine.php
It has a bunch of fun stuff to read, so all of my college buddies should check it out.

Ok, I know I'm random, but that's why ya'll love me. I really want to go to Hawaii again. I want to go like tomorrow.

And, I have been listening to a lot of John Mayer lately. He's pretty amazing, and when he sings live it looks like he is making out with his microphone, slightly innapropriate yet funny.
Ciao ya'll.

I've been tagged....again

I was tagged again last week, and I just remembered. So I will do it.

1. You must post the rules before you give your answers.
2. You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter.
3. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name.
4. After you've been tagged, you need to up-date your blog with your middle name and answers.
5. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details).

My middle name is Liane.

L- luxury. Come one, this should've been a given.
I- ingtelligent. Sometimes I can be smart.
A- amphipathic. I can be two faced, but only in the best ways.
N- narcissistic. At least I can admit that I'm stuck up. haha.
E- enraptured - with Kyle Korver.

I tag anyone who wants to be tagged.

Mostly/All "A" Answers -- Girl/Guy Next Door:Wholesome as apple pie, you're the one that parents admire and suitors dream about! Your quintessential love matches include Woody ("Toy Story"), Troy ("High School Musical"), Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Gabrielle ("High School Musical"), and Belle ("Beauty and the Beast"). True love is waiting... you just need to get out and find it!

Mostly/All "B" Answers -- Prince or Princess:For you, it's all about the fairy-tale romance! You thrill to the classic Princes and Princesses who have always represented Disney romance, and would happily move into your true love's castle, given the chance. You could find true love with the likes of Princes Edward, Eric, or Philip, or Princesses Cinderella, Aurora, or Giselle. Just remember it's not the size of the castle or the bank account, but the size of the heart, that is the mark of the true prince or princess.

Mostly/All "C" Answers -- The Rascal with a Heart of Gold:You'll never lack for excitement in your life -- you are either smitten with lovable rogues ... or are one yourself! We're not talking BAD guys here, but your romantic type frequently finds itself in hot water. We're betting a woman like you will swoon for the likes of Captain Jack Sparrow ("Pirates of the Caribbean"), Tramp ("Lady and the Tramp"), and the Beast/Prince ("Beauty and the Beast"). If you're a man, your perfect partner would need the spunk of Jessie ("Toy Story 2"), Mulan, or Nala ("The Lion King") to steal your heart -- and keep up with you.

Mostly/All "D" Answers -- High Maintenance: The good news is that you appreciate all the finer things in life and expect nothing less than the best. The not-so-great news? Some would consider you high maintenance -- or at the least hard to please. Looks like you'd get along just peachy with Joe Kingman ("The Game Plan"), Lighting McQueen ("Cars"), Kuzco ("The Emperor's New Groove"), Colette (Disney*Pixar's "Ratatouille"), Princess Jasmine ("Aladdin"), or Sharpay ("High School Musical"). Good luck, 'cause you're gonna need it!

Mostly/All "E" Answers -- Full-on Villain:You're drawn to trouble like flies on wet pizza! Not to worry though, you'll find plenty of romantic drama with Davy Jones ("Pirates of the Caribbean"), Gaston ("Beauty and the Beast"), Jafar ("Aladdin"), Queen Narissa ("Enchanted"), Maleficent ("Sleeping Beauty"), or even Ursula ("The Little Mermaid"). Or you may want to rethink staying single this Valentine's Day. Either way, spread the love and try not to hurt anybody!

I promise I study.........

Ok, so it may seem as though all I've done this week is watch movies, but I have in fact also watched a Jazz game and done some serious studying. But, I would like to recommend this movie to ya'll. It is a littlte 'artistic' but the music is fantastic, it's all The Beatles. So if you find yourself witht nothing to do this weekend, you should watch it.

I will be watching the NBA all-star festivities. Even though I think it's a bunch of crap cause Deron didn't get picked to play. Also, if they had a "Hottest Player" vote Kyle would definitely win.

The Guide to Being Luxury

My bathroom floor is being redone. That is rather luxury. I will post pics when it's all finished.

Awesomely bad 70's music is luxury. i.e. Barry Manilow, Copacabana. And Donny Osmond recently recorded an album of 70's love songs. I must admit, it's pretty good!

I love Bath & Body Works Wallflowers. They fill your room with luxurious fragrence. I only use Sweet Pea, but there are many different ones available.

That is all that is luxury for today. Besides me being luxury, but that's nothing new.

The Jane Austen Book Club

I just finished watching this movie, and it was absolutely adorable. It is definitely very luxury. I would highly recommend that you watch it.
And, I have fallen in love with Marc Blucas, he is very good looking. He was in First Daughter with Katie Holmes a few years ago, and I thought he was cute then. It turns out that he used to be a basketball player. And I think that after watching this movie you will fall in love with him too. So for now on, when I refer to my actor boyfriend, it's Marc. Kyle is still my athlete boyfriend.

Zero Tolerance Friday

Pedro and I cruising in the Porsche, not tolerating anything.

First off I must thank Peter for introducing me to this wonderful concept. Zero Tolerance Friday (ZTF), is all about not letting anyone or anything ruin your Friday and potentially your weekend. In honor of ZTF I didn't go my community health class today because I can't tolerate the teacher. I also didn't tolerate Jacqueline being a b-rat. I also will not tolerate a loss from the Jazz tonight. They've won 10 in a row, and I fully anticipate that streak to continue tonight.

And Peter, please be more careful when walking in the future. Jacqueline would no longer have someone to worry about her all of the time, and I wouldn't have anyone to share my quasi-love of mormon movies with. I will not tolerate you being hit by a car!!!! Haha.

I had a giant Biochem test this week, but all that is past, and I fully anticiapte having a good weekend. I hope you all do the same.

Disconnected

I'm offically over reading and writing about plants. I want to be a freaking dentist, not a botanist. But, I'll suck it up and keep going. I have a Biochemistry test to take before thursday. That should be rather interesting, considering I haven't studied for it. haha.
I need a mental break. Unfortunately, that won't come until June when I graduate. I'll be done with my bachelor's and then it's just 6 more years of school till I'll be an orthodontist. Not that long, right??
So, I will go will make it through this week, though I may not remember all of it. There are days when I feel like a walking zombie, going through the motions but not connecting with anything. It might have something to do with taking an insane amount of upper division credits.....
The good news is that the Jazz are on a 9-game winning streak. They always keep my interest peaked.
I'm excited for Saturday cause I get to volunteer at a free dental clinic. It should be a lot of fun, and hopefully I'll learn a lot. When I'm a dentist I want to be able to go to 3rd world countries and provide dental care. I would especially love to be ablto to help kids with cleft palates.
I have many ideas flowing for amazing blogs, but they will just have to wait until I have more than 5 minutes to write.
I'm gonna study now..... fun!!!!!

Oh What a Great Way to Start your Morning

The Jazz dominated in Memphis, and my boy Kyle was perfect from the field. This is what he had to say after the game.

But, really, do you think I heard any of it?? Haha.

Half Way 'Round the World

So, I'm pretty sure I don't know any people in Italy or Africa at the moment. So it was a little surprising to see those two places pop up on my site counter. So, I'm thinking I'm gonna make my blog private. Please email me so that I can add you as a friend. And even if I don't know you personally, if you're a friend of a friend or whatnot, email me too. I love that people read my blog, but I would prefer being able to control it from the ENTIRE world.
Thanks ya'll.
