Monday, December 6, 2010

It's cold outside.

Today I got a Facebook message from my Life Coach.  It said 'Blog'.  My blog is just kind of boring and I'm ok with that.  So, in true Danilee fashion, I will do a bullet post.

-I like this song by Nelly.  (Mostly just the chorus)

-I'm no longer a Jazz fan.  Watching games just isn't the same without KK there.  Whatever to them.

-I'm going to Texas on Friday.  Luxury.  I'll wear my cowboy boots to try to fit in.

-I have to get a root canal. UGH.  Seriously.  I have a dead tooth and it keeps getting darker and it just bothers me, so the solution is to either be a hillbilly with a black tooth or get a root canal.  I'm so over it already.

-Did you know that my boyfriend, Jesse McCartney, has a Christmas album.  Sometimes I listen to it on Pandora.  Issues.

-Gossip Girl is on hiatus until January 24.  What am I supposed to do on Monday nights?  Seriously.  I need my Upper East side fix of Chase Crawford. xoxo.

-Last Saturday I went to Ikea with my sisters.  Now I really want a little Ikea house.  Sometimes I secretly wish that I could be like Natalie Portman in that one movie and sleep in a store overnight.  I think it would be an adventure.

-I kind of want a miniature puppy.  I think it would be really cute and I think a puppy would be really happy living with all my luxuriousness.  Jacqueline told me this was a bad idea.

-I miss my suga muffin and can't wait till after Christmas when he comes to visit.  (Oh, and those other people too.) Haha.

I hope this was sufficient blogging.  xoxo

Did you know,

That Vanilla Ice has his own home-makeover show on the DIY network?
Yes, this Vanilla Ice.
And it's actually pretty good.  I stayed up way late last night watching episode after episode.  It's the only home makeover show with street cred, duh!

In other t.v. news, is anyone else watching the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?  Such the HTM.  Seriously.  But, it's addicting.

I've had the 'black lung' all week and have been hacking my brains.  Unluxury.

Also, I'm kind of ready for Halloween to be over and for Thanksgiving & Christmas to be here.  I just really like listening to Christmas music.

Um,

My name is Danilee and apparently I have an obsession with pink lip gloss. These are only my 'leftovers', not counting what's in my bathroom and my purse. Yeah.

Seriously

My eyelid has been twitching ALL week it's driving me nuts and makes it extremely difficult to put eyeliner on. Whatever to that. So, I decided to Google my situation and this is what I found:

The primary causes of eye twitching are listed below. It's important to remember that this is a symptom of something else and not the illness itself. Once you identify and treat the underlying cause of your eye twitch you'll be able to free yourself from it.

Suprised?  Me neither. Apparently life makes your eye twitch. Maybe I should go to the doctor and get a prescription for a vacation!

Happy Birthday, Padre.

For my dad's birthday I had this really great idea to take pictures of us holding signs (which is strictly prohibited for weddings, FYI).  I think it turned out pretty good, except for I the fact that I refused to wear red lipstick and ended up looking washed out.  Whatever to that.

Fancy veggies

Yesterday my luxury neighbor Angela brought us over a fancy purple pepper. We made stir fry with it tonight and it tasted just like a normal pepper. Imagine that.

She also brought over her 'first' tomato of the season. I had it on my salad for lunch today. It kind of makes me wish I had a garden full of fresh vegetables. Then again that would require getting my hands dirty, so nevermind.

Anyway, thanks Angela!

Oh Hey, Fall. It's been a while.

It's beginning to feel a lot like Fall. (Which means Christmas is just around the corner. WHAT?!?). Anyway, I think Fall gets jipped a lot of the time, especially here in Utah where it goes from summer to winter in like a day. I love Fall and am really trying to appreciate this beautiful season.

The other night I made an apple crisp. It was very luxury. I bet you wish you were here to eat it. Sorry. The house smelled so good all night. I wish it was appropriate to have Fall smells all year round.

I have also been loving Stevie Wonder lately. Random. But, really I just like his music.

Also, I've decided that I like piano music. It's really quite beautiful to listen to. I think when I am older I am going to hire a professional to play piano music in my house. Fancy. (Or, I could just get one of the magic pianos.) I was watching 'Pride & Predjudice' today with 'The Gabes' and I just really liked the music (& that Mr. Darcy).

Have a happy day of non-laboring tomorrow. It's supposed to be in the 40's in the a.m. here.

Happy Birthday, Moim.

My mom had a birthday last week. She requested a chocolate cake with pink frosting. I very politely offered to go buy a cake, because I didn't feel like making a cake. So, we ended up making a cake, but frosted it and this is what happened:
Cake Fail

Other than the cake catastrophe, it was a luxury day. We went to Chilis, saw Nanny McPhee 2 (which was quite adorable) and visited with lots of friends.

Happy Birthday, Barbie! We love you.

The City of Angels

I flew down to Cali with our friends, the Pateys, to pick up Shacklyn and bring her back to Utah. We packed A LOT into 2 days. We went to the Dodgers game on the first night and had a wonderful time.

The next morning we went to Disneyland! We did everything, rode every ride (and didn't wait in any lines, luxury), and saw both big shows at the end of the night. Totally VIP, if you will. The younger boys were asking to 'please' go home at the end of the night because they were so worn out. It was a lot of fun to run around on a mission to get everything done.

The next day, Shlack and I hung out around Whittier and then went down to Downtown Disney for a movie. Unfortunately my Life Coach made a bad decision and wasn't in town. Whatever to her.
We saw these old people dancing while wearing matching outfits. Your team.

The next day we drove home.

The end.

Tired out

I don't have much to blog about. Just busy with work as usual.

I'm really looking forward to next week. I'm off to Cali to pick up
Shacklyn and drive her home.

I'm flying down on a private jet. Very luxury. (He was black.
Celebrity.). Hahahah.

Anywhoo, I'm so glad to have a few days off. I'm just getting too
tired out.

Too bad my Life Coach will not be in the greater Whittier area during
my vacation. Whatever to you!

J'aime

For those of y'all who don't speak French 'j'aime' means 'I love'. There are a few thing I've been loving lately.

-John Mayer

-the song 'Misery' by Maroon 5

-the movie 'The Young Victoria'. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it. Rupert Friend? Yes, please.

-summer thunderstorms. There is one happening right now and it's beautiful to listen to

- e.l.f cosmetics @ Target. Everything is way cheap and the quality is suprisingly good. I read about it on a beauty blog, so I bought some lip gloss and blush the other day and so far I'm impressed.

- dresses from Downeast. I like to dress 'fancy' and they have lots of fun things to wear.

- one thing I do not love is living out of a suitcase. I've pretty much been gone for the past 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. At least for a while until I'm off on another adventure.

- I've been loving hanging out with my cousins that have been up here from Texas. Kitty Kate has been really happy to me this trip. We're making great progress.

- I was down in Vegas last week for week and I went to see the Lion King one night. It was excellent. I would highly recommend it.

Anything you are loving that I need to know about?

As of late

I feel like Summer is happening without me this year. I guess that is
what happens when you're a grown up. I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Gone are the days of mornings spent at swim team and evenings spent in
the back yard putting on Spice Girl concerts for the 'England Boys'.
I miss those lazy summer days. A lot.

Now that I'm old I spend my summers working, business tripping,
thinking and plotting out the future. Not quite as much fun as being
at the pool all day.

I wish I could go back and be a carefree, daydreaming kid for a day. So tomorrow I'll sit at the pool and watch all te clouds go by. And maybe I'll listen to the Spice Girls.

A little part of my heart just died.

I'll be dreaming with a little bit of a broken heart tonight.

My boyfriend won't be in Utah next year. KK is gone!

I'll be consoling myself with some diet coke and John Mayer.

Anyone up for a trip to Chicago in October to see KK play with Bulls?

Happy Independence Day

While most of the world is out intheir patriotic get-ups, BBQ-ing and
setting off fire works, we are doing make-up for a 'California Gurls'
inspired photo shoot. (Check back later for pics.)

Hope you have a safe and happy 4th.

Mushaboom.

-I sincerely apologize for my lack of blogging. I'm just a little bit busy with work. (Story of my life). But, I am happy to be this busy, because we have had an 'amazing' month!!! We literally ran out of braces to put on people. My goal is to put braces on everyone that walks in the door.

-I watched the U.S. Open this weekend with my Pops. I love watching golf, but can not hit a ball to save my life. Also, I love the sound of 'golf claps'. Weird, I know. (I also love the sound that a car makes when driving on the freeway).

-I am off to California this week for a much needed vacation. Thank goodness. A couple of days in the sun is good for you. (Sidenote: I love Katy Perry's new song 'California Gurls'. It is slightly inappropriate. And I have been told before that I don't have the best taste in music, but it's the 'perfect' summer song.)

-Also, have you seen '500 days of Summer'? If not, you should. It's a very cute movie and the soundtrack is tres bien.

Danilee out.

Life.

You know what's funny? Just when you think you've got things figured out and then you realize you don't. I feel like I'm stuck in a never ending revolving door of uncertainty. (And, it kind of sucks.)

So, because I know that I have little control on everything going on around me, I will pretend I'm a kid again and watch Toy Story (1 & 2, it's a marathon on the Disney channel) with my mom and wish all my problems would go away.

A girl can only dream.

I'm a Gleek.

Do you watch Glee? If not you totally should. It's such a great show, plus Mr. Schu is x-exy. Also, Sue Sylvester is hilariuos.

The finale was this week and they sang this song:

Loves it.

A year ago today,

This young gentleman was born and I was heading down to Texas to see him. Wow, how time flies!
Happy Birthday 'Baby Will'

Monday, June 7, 2010

Right now,

I'm watching this movie with Cameo & The Gabes. If Kyle were here it
would be perfect.

Sunday, June 6, 2010

I highly recommend...

That you watch the show 'Diners, Drive-ins & Dives'. They go around
to local restaurants all over the country and show what they make.
Plus, Mr. Fieri is pretty bad a**. They just did an episode with a
restaurant down in Long Beach that we'll definitely need to visit.

I think I was born with the wrong hair color.

-So, in honor of some Pacman anniversary, Google.com's homepage has Pacman on it. I've been playing it for the past 2 days and I just barely realized it spells 'Google' within the Pacman game. Duh.

-This is a good story. About 2 years ago I was driving up to work in the Caddy. The little message thing on the dashboard pops up that my oil life is 'low'. I ignored it and kept driving. A few minutes later it popped up that the oil life was at 0%. I immediately called my mom and dad but they didn't answer. So I called my friend Kristi at work and told her I was going to be late because I 'had' to stop and get an oil change. I was literally freaking out on the freeway because I thought that it was like gas and that when it was low you had to stop immediately and get more. Seriously.

I remembered this story when the oil light came on today. Luckily I am smarter now and didn't have a panic attack.

Hope that made you laugh. Have a happy weekend.

Can I hold your foot?

The first day back from vacation is always the hardest. Luckily I had a lovely time with my Life Coach & Co and got to spend some quality time with Jacko (since she will be gone for the summer).

A lot is going on at work so I was really anxious to get back. I keep thinking that things will calm down and I will get into some sort of pattern, but it never seems to happen. I am thankful for new opportunities and am looking forward to the future (I may grow a few gray hairs in the process).

Also, a special thanks to Mr. Bieber for providing the soundtrack to this mini vaca. We sang 'Baby, Baby, Baby' a million times. And then we found out he got a tattoo and we were kind of over to him. (Kind of like when I found out KK got a tattoo, whatever to that.)

Anyway, I only took a few pics, but I assure you that we had a wonderful time and spend plenty of money. Now I just need to figure out when I can go back.

Monday, May 10, 2010

I think I've caught...

The Bieber fever. He's like Jesse McCartney x100. I don't even know how old he is, but I do know his songs are too catchy.

Sunday, May 9, 2010

Thanks, John.

This is like my anthem of the moment. "Nothing to do, nowhere to be, a simple little kind of free". I can't tell you how much I love not having to tell anyone what I'm doing or coordinate my schedule with someone else's. Eventually I'll change my mind, but for now I'm happy being perfectly lonely.

(Don't worry Chrissi, Kyle will most likely be done with the season after tomorrow and we can start dating again. Awesome.)

Vacation, All I ever wanted, Vacation, Had to get away

I am in desperate need of a mental break. So when I realized that Shlack would need someone to accompany her back down to California in a few weeks I quickly volunteered. Plus, we all know I love a good road trip. I can't wait to spend a whole week with my Life Coach in my most favorite state. I just wish next Friday would hurry up and get here already.

(P.S. for those in Texas, please don't feel bad. I am still trying to figure out a time to come see y'all.)

Misery

I love Spring but I do not like the wacky weather that comes with it.
One day it will be beautiful and 70 degrees and then the next it will
be snowing. Problems.

In top of it all I currently have the worst allergies I've had in my
life. I seriously can't even breathe through my nose. I'm so over it.

I wish it could just be summer all the time.

X-tina's guide to dating

1. be approachable
2. smile
3. don't carry your huge purse
4. don't cross you arms
5. smile some more...show off your work
6. go to church
7. all 3 hours
8. and activities
9. singles ward not a family ward...dating a 12 year old is awkward
10. don't meet somewhere, he comes to pick you up, he pays. the end.

I will file this away in my brain and read it before every date I go on.

"I want my hair to look like Quinn's on Glee"

I am a fan of bullet point blog posts. I know some people do not like this type of blogging, but it's easy. And, you don't really have to commit to one topic (we all know commitment is not my strong suit). So without further ado I give you the thoughts in my head:

-The weather needs to make up it's d*amn mind. Seriously. I have to check the weather app on my phone before I get dressed every morning. Problems.

-My life coach gives good advice. I've asked her and her executive assistant to write me a guide on dating. If she follows through with it, I'll post it on here. Two things she tells me: don't bring a big purse and don't fold your arms all of the time. Noted.

-I worked till almost 9 tonight. Struggs. Luckily yesterday was Secretary's day and my boss brought us all in a nice treat.

-I've been listening to the Dean Martin station on Pandora. I love Dean Martin, his voice is just magical. This song may be my favorite song 'ever'. It's also the title of my fav movie; I listen to the soundtrack all of the time.

-I'm starting to get allergies. Very unluxury.

-I call Shacklyn and tell her to come visit me and she never comes. Whatever to her.

-I think I shall have a tea party with Shlack tomorrow afternoon. Fancy.

-I'm pretty much over to Facebook.

-I have an obsession with ironing. I think that it is professional to iron things. Sometimes I even iron my pajamas. Yeah.

-Have you heard the story about Camille hitting a bus full of handicapped children? Good times.

-I get to sleep in tomorrow morning! Yahoo!

Happy Birthday

Yesterday this gentleman turned 5. He is hands down the cutest sugar
muffin I have ever met. I hope my boys are as cute, cuddly and funny
as Gavin Basker.

Fancy

Shacklyn is coming home today for a little visit before ahe heads back
down to California for the summer. Since she wasn't here on here
actual birthday, we are going to have a small party tonight. I made
her this pink Barbie cake. I know you're all jealous.

Motto

I just got this email forward from a friend. It reminds me of a saying
that our dad told us when we were little: "We don't cuss, smoke, drink
or chew and we don't date the boys that do". Words to live by.

Adventures in Piracy

I just took the boys to dinner at Pieate Island. Cameo and The Gabes tagged along. It is harder to entertain boys than it is girls. I just don't get why they can't be happy shopping for the day (haha).

Ok, but seriously our server talked like a pirate the 'whole' time. Weird. And he kept calling me 'love'. I was like why you so obsessed with me?

I don't think I will be frequenting Pirate Island, but next time my suga-muffin (aka Mr. Basker) comes to town we will definitely have to go.

Sleep tight.

After a long day, there are certain things that never fail to put a smile on my face.

-Eye cream (cause it's never too early to start thinking about wrinkles)

-Loads of Cotton Candy chapstick

-Yummy smelling candles

-Cozy pajamas

-An ice cold glass of water

-Lavender scented pillow spray

-Peppermint scented hand lotion

-My Genius playlist based on this song

-My Hello Kitty alarm clock/night light

-Finally laying down my tired bones in the sea of pillows that I call my bed.

Nighty night.

Glee

I'm excited for Glee to come back this week!

Sue Sylvester cracks me up. Her one-liners get me every time:
- "Long list of things you are no good at: your marriage, leading glee club and finding a hairstylist that doesn't make you look like a lesbian."
- "All I want is just one day a year when I'm not visually assaulted by uglies and fatties."
- "While they were in there, I told them to go ahead and yank out those tear ducts. Wasn't using them."
-"You are about to board the Sue Sylvester express....... destination HORROR."
-"You think this was hard? Try auditioning for Baywatch and being told they're going in another direction. That was hard."
- "[Ramps] are what I call lazy-makers. They discourage able-bodied students from getting proper exercise by using the stairs."
- "I, for one, think intimacy has no place in a marriage. Walked in on my parents once and it was like seeing two walruses wrestling."
- "I like minorities so much, I'm thinking of moving to California to become one."
- "It feels good to finally pop that zit known as Will Schuester."
- "I don't trust a man with curly hair. I can't help but picture little birds laying sulfurous eggs in there, and it disgusts me."
- "I'll often yell at homeless people: 'Hey, how is that homelessness working out for you? Try not being homeless for once.'"
- "Not everyone is gonna have the walnuts to take a pro-littering stance. But I will not rest until every inch of our fair state is covered in garbage."
- "I'm going to ask you to smell your armpits. That's the smell of failure, and it's stinking up my office."
- "You think this is hard? Try waterboarding. That's hard!"
- "I'm going to go to the animal shelter, get you a cat, and wait until you've fallen in love with that cat... then I'm going to break into your house in the middle of the night, and punch you in the face."

I have already admitted to my crush on Mr. Schuester, but now it's your turn to fall for him too.
If you haven't seen the show, you have a couple days to catch up on previous episodes before the rest of the season airs.

Thoughts on kids

I'm babysitting right now. I've been here for almost a week and I've got another week to go. A fortnight is a long time to be in charge. Luckily these boys are pretty easy going and like to go do some fun stuff. So far this week we've accomplished a movie, bowling, going to an indoor swimming pool, watching Transformers 1 & 2 and many hours spent on something that looks like a gameboy but is apparently much more advanced. Tonight we decided to stay in. I asked the boys what they wanted to do and they wrote this list:

#4 was accomplised easily ;). Now we are sitting here watching Alvin & the Chipmunks.

Watching kids is hard work. My hat is off to all you mom's who do it 24/7.

I look forward to having kids of my own in the way distant future, but after a long day of cooking, cleaning & entertaining, I'll gladly keep my independence for just a little bit longer.

Happy Birthday, Shacklyn.

Today is my sister's 21st Birthday. In honor of that here are 21 things you may or may not know about Jacqueline.
1. We have our own secret language. We can say 'homeboy industries', 'HTM', 'awkward', 'He was black. Celebrity' and know exactly what the other is trying to say without having to actually say anything and being politically correct.
2. She secretly (or not so secretly) wishes that she was a Disney princess.
3. She calls her black bug the 'Black Pearl'. (She may not be the most aware driver in the world).
4. She loves that Lady Gaga and is always ready for a dance party.
5. She doesn't really like to wake up in the mornings.
6. Within minutes of meeting someone, that person is Jac's new 'best friend'. She has A LOT of friends.
7. She has crushes on Chris Carrabba, the red head guy from Harry Potter, Ricky Bobby, and the Male Model (off & on).
8. She sends a lot of text messages.
9. Her room is decorated really fancily. It may or may not always be clean.
10. One time we took an online class together in college. I ended up doing most of the work and in return she did stuff for me.
11. One time I hired her as my personal assistant... That didn't work out so well.
12. Once when we were driving down to California she may have eaten an entire box of chocolate donuts. Homegirl loves a 'donie party'.
13. I potty trained Jacqueline. You're welcome.
14. Jac had the 'cutest' froggy voice when she was younger.
15. I have been on many roadtrips with Jacqueline. I like to refer to her as my 'co-pilot'.
16. I like to tell Jacko that I have better eyebrows and better teeth than her. In reality they're pretty much the exact same.
17. I like to call Jac early in the morning on the way to work and sing her Donny Osmond's version of 'Mary, did you know?'. I know she very much enjoys this.
18. Jac has a very artistic eye. I think she could be a professional 'photo-grapher' when she grows up.
19. Jac works on Splash Mountain at Disneyland. She aspires to also work at Pirates of the Caribbean. (She has been known to sing songs while doing crowd control for parades.)
20. Now that she is 21 she has reached the legal drinking age (naughty business). I enjoy having a 'cocktail' with Jacqueline and lounging around.
21. I am very glad that she is my sister and I love her lots.

Wanna come over for dinner?

I've been a bad blogger. I know. It's just that I've had a lot going on. My madre still has a cast on her arm. Yes, it's her 3rd one and she'll probably have to have a 4th. Between work and helping out around the house I don't have much time for anything else. Not that I'm complaining, but at least it makes it sound like I haven't completely abandoned this little old blog. (I did however ditch Twitter. I was just over to it.)

Anyway. I've been trying to help out with cooking and such. I added a bunch of foodie blogs to my Google reader and if a recipe comes up that looks yummy and not too hard I'll make it. Here's a few of the things I've tried recently:

*These were yummy but mine looked 'nothing' like the picture. They were a gooey HTM.

*I 'love' salad, but this was not as great as I thought it would be.

*These are so good and so much easier to make than cookies.

*I've made this a few times and changed it slightly. It's good no matter what you add.

*This was even better than what they serve at the restaurant. You can just call me Julia Child.

I think I am going to try to find a recipe for Carrabba's chicken marsala and garlic mashed potatoes.

What food blogs do you read?

Deja vu

Remember when this happened: http://luxurydanielle.blogspot.com/2008/12/wtf.html ????

Well, it happened AGAIN. I seriously could SCREAM right now. Ugh, I am so upset.

It's even worse than last time b/c apparently the other lady with the # has had it for about a month. So, I have absolutely NO clue where my calls are being sent, where my texts are coming/going etc. Absolutely a HTM!!!!

So, if you've tried to contact me and I've responded like a 40 year old crack addict, it wasn't me, I promise.

It may be time for a new phone #. FML.

Special Day

Today is a very special day for a very special lady I know. It's my
Life Coach's 29th Bday! (+11). Wahoo!

We all love you very much X-Tina, and hope that you have a very luxury
day.

The luck of the Irish.

OMG. I almost forgot about this gem:
I seriously LOL'd like 10 times while watching and then proceeded to watch it another 5 times. I particularly love the amateur sketch. Seriously such a HTM.

Monday, March 15, 2010

HTM.

Seriously, I'm so confused but obsessed at the same time. Thanks Shlack. Now I can't stop watching his videos. How does he do this?

Things that make me nervous.

The other night Cameo & I were talking about things that make me nervous or tense. It's quite a long list, but here it is in no particular order. Please feel free to add your opinions in the comments.

-Being late (especially when travelling)
-Boys
-Not having my purse or phone with me
-Reindeer (particularly the wicker kind)
-Not wearing my retainers to bed everynight
-Talking to people I don't know
-Ordering food at restaurants (Inside joke)
-Going over on my cell phone minutes
-People touching me in any way
-Other people using any of my stuff
-Being in the car when I'm not driving
-Homeless people (sorry, I know that's not PC)
-Running out of essential beauty products (i.e. shaving cream, Q-tips)
-When my computer, phone or other electronic isn't working and Google doesn't have the answer
-Not putting a card right back in my wallet and then thinking it's lost
-Having a clean pile of clothes not put away
-Having lots of un-answered emails in my inbox

Ok. I'm bored, though I'm sure there are many, many more...

End of an era.

I don't have the eloquent words to express the mix of emotions I'm feeling. Everything from shock to peace.

But, I can say without a doubt that my friend Michael was truly one of the sweetest people I've known in my life. He was always wise beyond his years. Mike, I'll miss that shy smile of yours, your courage and your always loving heart.

'One day hair'.

My life coach and I both have what we affectionately call 'one day hair'. Meaning that no matter what we do, our hairstyle is only good for one day (sometimes even a 1/2 a day). Take yesterday for example. I was exhausted from having worked almost 17 hours the day before so I took a mid afternoon nap (a perk of not working Friday's). I woke up early evening, looked at myself in the mirror, and thought 'what a HTM'. Seriously. My hair was ruined. It had gotten all bent out of place and no amount of flat-ironing could help it. I will spare you the picture, because I don't look very glamorous upon first waking up.

I can't even take a shower the night before and do my hair in the morning because it gets so messy. I'm not even kidding. I just have weird hair. I spend outrageous amounts of money on products in hope of achieving what I think is 'good hair', but most days I'm still not thrilled with how it looks.

It's just not fair that some people (Cornmeal & Haydan O.) have hair that is naturally straight, long and can look great for 2+ days. Whatever to them.

I like watching the Olympics.

I think Mr. Ohno is good looking. My Life Coach disagrees. What do you think?

Zarizonia 2.0

I've been in Scottsdale all week for an orthodontic conference. It is luxury to go on 'working vacations'. I feel so grown up when I do.

We stayed at a Marriott vacation club and it was very luxury. We were right on the golf course and right next to the pool. Fancy. Luckily it is like warm in Zarizonia so we could totally wear 'Spring' clothes.
Our fancy room:
We were really staying in a condo sort of room. It had a full kitchen, dining room, family room, 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. I kept saying that I wished I could just move in because it was so luxury. I would love to go back for a real vacation.
On Friday night there was a gala and we got all hussied up.

We also got to go to Trader Joe's while we were there. I 'really' love Arizona and would move there in a heartbeat if the opportunity popped up.

Another trip to California...

Last Friday I drove Shacklyn back down to California so she can have a job. (She was being a horrible personal assistant.) It was a very quick trip, but luckily Jenn Jenn and Will.I.Am were there visiting too so it was well worth the busy weekend.Shacklyn and I. I'm glad I'm the 'pretty one'. Hah.
Two hot messes.
3 of my BFF's and I.
Will has grown up so much since I saw him as a newborn. I love that boy.
Luckily there is now a Cafe Rio in Irvine. We were so there. We also went to the swap and I got new sunglasses. Luxury.
I snuggled this boy on Friday night and watched the opening ceremonies with my Life Coach (I was 'very' disappointed in the production). Bernicula was also present but apparently was not having her photo taken.

Luckily Jenn & Co will come to Utah in a few weeks for a visit, some other members of the family make bad decisions and won't be coming. Maybe I will come back down to CA for a certain birthday on March 23? Call me so we can make plans.
