These are a few of my favorite things.

I've done this once before (see here), but I thought that it would be luxury to have this be a regular thing on my blog (and it might help me to be a better blogger.)  So, here are a few of the things that I've been loving lately:

I love OPI polish as much as the next girl, but sometimes it is a bit pricey (especially when you want to buy every color).  So, I found this great replacement at Walgreens.  (See all the wonderful colors here.)  The quality obviously isn't as great but the colors are vibrant and you can't beat the price.  I think that if you invest in good base and top coats this polish will be good.  (Or you can just be luxury like my life coach and get a mani/pedi every 2 weeks.)

These are an absolute MUST have.  They are the best tweezers I've ever had.  I buy the mini ones because they're about 1/2 the price and they do the same thing!  I'm on my 3rd set right now, but I need to send my older ones in because they do free sharpening for life.  I just got some cute pink ones (my older ones are purple polka-dots and plain old silver). If you can find them on sale get them immediately.  If not, they range in price from $9-12 which is a steal considering all the money you'll save on eyebrow waxing.

This conditioner smells like 'Paradise in a bottle'.  I didn't get the shampoo but it smelled just as lovely.  I got it at my favorite store (Target) and they even had a mail-in rebate to try it for free.  I loved it so much that I've bought it again in a different flavor, 'Mocha Chocolate'.  Yum.
My Life Coach likes me to curl my hair.  I like to too, but the style usually falls out after a few hours.  (Curse my fine hair.)  So, yesterday after I had curled my hair I put some of this stuff in it.  I've had it for a while and never have found the perfect way to use it, but now I'm addicted.  My style lasted all day (even after 4 hours of babysitting).  Bonus - it's cheap!  (Chrissi- when you buy this make sure it's the paste and not the wax. And, notice I said when not if.)

I've heard about this mascara quite a bit.  Sephora always sends me emails about it and finally I broke down and bought some.  I know that $25 seems a bit extreme for 1 tube of mascara, but it was definitely worth every penny.  The brush is incredible and my lashes have never looked better.

Ok, enough about beauty products (I honestly could go on all day.)  Let me tell you about my new fav musician.  His name is Amos Lee and his voice is just so x-exy.  These are just a few of my favorite songs:

Ok, that is all I can think of for today.  But, I'll be sure to let all of y'all know about what else I find.

I have no problem buying pricey mascara if it really works on my crappy/short lashes! I'll definitely give it a try - the fructis too! Thanks!

I LOVE Organix hair products too! I have tried the vanilla (smells SO good), coconut (smells amazing) and the shea one. I have never met someone else who has even heard of these... glad to know you're in the loop! :)

why would you want your hair to smell like cake batter? I don't get it!
The coconut sounds perfect for the summer. I'm on it!

Whoa! When did you update your blog? I must tell you I've missed it dearly. :) I also LOVE LOVE LOVE when you do this. I don't think I ever told you I bought the Clean and Clear Shower Facial, but I LOVE it. It makes me happy every time I suds up. Thank you for sharing your luxuries with me. Have you tried Mary kay's Mascara? It's pricey too, but definitely the best. I really like your list because you found the high end at affordable prices. Love ya.

P.S. I also am a huge fan of Garnier's line of products. I use the leave in conditioner when I get out of the shower, and boy, does it leave my hair feeling soft. :) The shampoo is just awesome too. I can't wait to try that product.
