Wanna come over for dinner?

I've been a bad blogger. I know. It's just that I've had a lot going on. My madre still has a cast on her arm. Yes, it's her 3rd one and she'll probably have to have a 4th. Between work and helping out around the house I don't have much time for anything else. Not that I'm complaining, but at least it makes it sound like I haven't completely abandoned this little old blog. (I did however ditch Twitter. I was just over to it.)

Anyway. I've been trying to help out with cooking and such. I added a bunch of foodie blogs to my Google reader and if a recipe comes up that looks yummy and not too hard I'll make it. Here's a few of the things I've tried recently:

*These were yummy but mine looked 'nothing' like the picture. They were a gooey HTM.

*I 'love' salad, but this was not as great as I thought it would be.

*These are so good and so much easier to make than cookies.

*I've made this a few times and changed it slightly. It's good no matter what you add.

*This was even better than what they serve at the restaurant. You can just call me Julia Child.

I think I am going to try to find a recipe for Carrabba's chicken marsala and garlic mashed potatoes.

What food blogs do you read?

Must be why you never called me back... P.S. I'm going to try the Chili's recipe.

Wow - looks great! Are you sure your Mom isn't faking the whole cast thing so that she can have you take over the cooking? ;)

I wanted to let you know I tried the Chili's Cajun Chicken recipe, and I made my family eat it. Since that day, we've had it 3 or 4 times! I swear it gets better each time I make it! Thanks, D!
