Heaven.

I came across a few blogs today of girls who are obsessed with pink, just like me.  I saw these pics of wedding cakes and now I feel inspired to one day have a pink and green wedding.  Aren't they just adorable?

Huh?

You know when you have been driving for a while and all of the sudden you realize you're almost home and that you haven't been paying attention for a long time.  Today was one of those days.  

Because XM doesn't have a traffic station for SLC is listened to the LA traffic and weather report.  It is about a 3 minute segment that plays over and over and over again.  I dreamt that I was in the nice 70 degree weather.  I then realized that I make bad decisions.  Oh well.

I NEED this!

Boredom.

I don't like being at home for very long periods of time.  I kind of go crazy (blame the snow).  Anywhoo, I arrived home yesterday and I'm already planning my next escape.  One problem: I don't really know where to go.  I think I would like to go on a road trip.  Does anyone want to go with me?  I really am a great person to go on a road with, here's why:

Top 10 reasons it is luxury to go road trippin' with me:

1.  I have luxury Dooney & Bourke luggage.

2.  I like to leave EARLY in the morning, therefore not 'wasting' a day traveling.

3.  I like to drive and be in control.  Therefore you can sleep and be well rested when you reach your final destination.

4.  I pay for gas.  I know where all the Costco's are.

5.  I have an iPhone, which enables you to have full internet access on the open road.  You can book your face, check your email and tweet your little heart out.

6.  I have a great iPod selection that includes BSB, Spice Girls and Jesse McCartney.  I like to sing along and so you pretty much have a great pop concert experience.

7.  I drive fast, getting you there in less time.

8.  I have an excellent cop radar detector.

9.  I always have a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, hairspray and lipgloss in purse if you need to freshen up a little bit.

10.  You would be SO lucky to spend any amount of time stuck in a car with me.

Today is my Life Coach's birthday.  Unfortunately, due to a thing called work, I was unable to spend the day with her.  Luckily I made up for it by spending every day of the last week in her glorious presence.  Chrissi helps me to learn really important things like:  how to make guacamole, how to properly garden so you don't decapitate a flower and how to spend money on things that you really don't need.  I lova loo so much and I hope that you had a very luxury day.  Please answer the phone when I call you.

Bronte and I are matching today. We are both wearing white sun dresses with leggings, pink sweater and pink flip flops. Our hair is curled and we both have pink make-up on. I think it is rather luxury. Please also note my new pink ring, I made Jac buy it for me at Disneyland. Oh, and my nails are painted pink. I kinda just really like pink.

WHY?

Ok, I get that they are trying to be all environmentally friendly and what not, but this is just going a little too far. They make Hybrid Escalades now a days. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spent the majority of my day with this guy. He never got out of his
pajamas. We played and watched 'Cars'. It was oh most definitely a
good day.

I feel like a grown up.

Last weekend I went on a 'working trip' to San Diego.  It was very luxury.  We were there for a SureSmile conference.  SureSmile is very luxury.

One night they had a big awards party.  Each group had to pick a TV show or movie to dress up as.  We did Survivor.  Please note that I didn't 'dirty up' my face like everyone else.

I was very sad that we had to leave San Diego.  I think I might sneak down for a day next week when I'm back down in California.

Please note that it is only about 60% done.  (Someone in Whittier was just a little to anxious to see it.)  I am still waiting on a cushion for my window box seat that will match the headboard.  Also, I have a really cute mirror to hang up.  I'm thinking that I am going to hang up a couple of my pink D&B purses with these really cute princess crown hooks, thoughts?

These are pics of me from when I was little.  They have always been in the living room, but now the living room is gold and red, luckily they match my room perfectly.  Wasn't I the cutest kid?  (None of my sisters ever had pics like this hanging in the living room! Ha.)
I think that the headboard needs to be raised like 6 inches.  I don't like the pillows all flat like this.
I still need to go get a flat screen.  It would help if I was home for more than like 2 days a month.

I think I am going to get this really cute green and white chair from Pottery Barn kids. And, I'm going to have my desk painted.  I just don't know if I should have it done white, pink or green.  Ugh.  

I also need to get new curtains.  I just don't know what to go with.  Maybe plantation shutters? 

OH, and I think I need a chandelier with lots of pink on it.  That would be very luxury.

I must be popular.

You know how they say that your nose itches when someone is talking about you? Well my nose has been itching like crazy. I really just think it is the crazy wind and inversion that is making my nose itch, but I like to think that people are thinking about me.

In other news. My headboard will arrive tomorrow. That is very luxury. I also got a cute mirror for my room. Have I mentioned how much I love having a pink room? I just makes me very happy.

Today was one of 'those' days at work where you leave and you are just exhausted. Emotionally and physically I was over it. I really felt like I was going to have a good ol' cry when I got in the car (which is totally NOT like me at all.) So, I got in the car and turned on the radio and this is the song I hear:



It made me feel better.  I guess everything will be alright.

I know...

I got the dreaded email today that it is time to update my blog.  I feel like my head is spinning at 1000 mph and it hasn't stopped for like a month.  So, the blog has been shoved down toward the bottom of my to do list.  Hopefully I will get my act together and come up with something witty to post on here very soon.  In the mean time, I'll keep on plugging along.  Oh, and also I promise to post about my luxury time in San Diego.  Peace out y'all.
