Last week...

I was feeling a bit anxious.  I don't like to be in Utah for extended periods of time (it really can't be good for you).  So, I flew down to the real Promised Land for a little R & R and some life coaching.   I feel much better now, thank you very much.
Bronte was having a moment, and yes Haydie has fancy hair in.
We took a church holiday and went down to the beach.  We rented one of those 4 seater bikes and ventured around (mostly in the parking lot).  Please ask Bronte about her experience, apparently these bikes are a modern day torture chamber.  Whatever.

I am so glad that I'm graduated from college and that I can take trips down to Cali whenever I feel like it.  Chrissi, what are you doing this weekend?  I think I might come down again.  Haha.

Oh Lordy

This is the scene I came home to from work. It made me rather nervous.
I have an adversion to wicker reindeer.

I need to complain for just a moment.

I'm tired.  Like, really tired.  It was a very long day at work.  Yet, a very productive day.  One of those days where you feel really great about your job and all the hard work you put into it.  We had a big open house after 'work' for a bunch of hygienists so I didn't get home till after 10.  Whew.  My mom has the flu so I came home to a sink full of dirty dishes and a room full of dirty clothes.  I seriously just wanted to crawl in to bed and end the day.  But, being the OCD individual I am, I did the dishes, the laundry and even put my little sister's lunch $ in a baggy with a cute note.  Ok, now comes the complaining (you thought that happened already) during this whole ordeal my sister who is next in line and shall remain nameless was out 'hanging' on a school night. (That may have been a run on sentence.)  This is rather unluxury.  Step up to the plate.  Now, I really do need to go to sleep.  I've got to be up in 4 1/2 hours.  I hope your day was a little more luxurious than mine.

*P.S.  I hear the Jazz lost.  I wasn't expecting anything different but it still hurts.

Thoughts on a Sunday afternooon...

I bought this online:
I really hope it smells good.  It goes with my perfume theme of pink packaging.

You know who's really cute:

I really enjoy the first round of the Playoffs.  Yes, the Jazz lost, but there is literally a game every night!  I couldn't be happier.

The Amazing Race starts in 10 minutes.  I just love that show.

2009 NBA Playoffs

So, since my Jazz are facing 'certain death' in the first round of the playoffs, I decided that I needed to find another team to cheer for to win the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy.  I thought long and hard about how exactly to do this.  Then it occurred to me: base your decision on who has the hottest player.  Well, this is all a little subjective because I obviously think KK is the best thing that has ever happened to the great game of basketball.  So, I went through each team and picked the hottest player (I had a really hard time b/c some teams were slapped with the ugly stick):

WEST:

LA Lakers - Shannon Brown (I bet you thought I was gonna say Kobe.  Ewww.)
Denver Nuggets - Sonny Weems (WHO? He's the only one who didn't make me want to vomit.)
Houston Rockets - Shane Battier (Who else was I supposed to pick?  Yao!?!)
Portland Trailblazers - Brandon Roy (He's ok looking...from far away.)
San Antonio Spurs - Tony Parker (His wife has nice hair & he speaks french.)
New Orleans Hornets - Christopher Paul (8>3, but he is pretty cute.)

Dallas Mavericks - I honestly couldn't find anyone.  I really tried.

Utah Jazz - do you even have to guess?  (Look at that hair!  It drives me wild.)
EAST:

Cleveland Cavaliers - LBJ (he is the 'King'.)
Boston Celtics - Leon Powe (Wow.  Look at those arms.)
Orlando Magic - Dwight Howard (Oh, come on.  He's Superman.)
Atlanta -Detroit:  It would be very unwise to even think that any of these teams even have a chance.  Plus, I'm kinda bored.

After much consideration and picture searching here is my conclusion:

(Meow!)

I will continue to cheer for my team until the bitter end.  They need me more than ever to cheer them on and build them up.  I'll proudly wear pink, sparkly KK t-shirt during every game vs. LA.  I will endure the painful text messages from my cousin who happens to be a Faker fan.  So, bring it LA.  (Yeah, I went there.)

Did you know?

That there is a male counterpart to 'my' signature scent? I bet Kyle would smell absolutely delectable wearing this:

CTR.

The following conversation took place in my bedroom about an hour ago right after I returned from the mall where I bought MAC make-up and jewelry and also picked up a CTR (choose the right) ring for Jack-o at the Deseret Book.

Jac:  Did you get my ring?

D: Yeah, it's in my purse.

J: Oh, I'm glad it actually fits.  Are you going to have to get one now because it's pink?

D: No, because I like to choose the wrong.*

J: You're not funny.

D: I know, but I try.

Jacqueline just walked away in disgust.

*Please know that I do try to CTR and make good decisions in my life.  Instead of a CTR ring I think I shall get a WWMLCD (What would my life coach do?) ring.

Oh Hey, it's Danilee.

Somehow I got the nickname Danilee.  I'm not to keen on it, but everyone calls me Danilee now so whatever to that.  Anywhoo, I just wanted to share something with y'all.  I recently have been listening to Taylor Swift's new cd 'Fearless'.  In fact I am listening to it as I type this.  It is seriously the best cd I've heard in a long time.  EVERY song is good and 'so' easy to sing along to.  (And, you should all know that I like to sing along even when I don't know the words.)  This week I have listened to this cd everyday on the way to and from work.  I like to turn it up really loud and speed down the freeway.  (I think of speed limits as more of a suggestion.)  I highly recommend that y'all go out and purchase this cd and listen to it.  I think you'll thank me immensely.

Here is what else I am thinking about this fine evening:
-I need to go to the store and get a new pink nail polish for summer.
-I am in desperate need of a mani/pedi.
-I actually get to wear clothes tomorrow.
-Should I grow my hair out or cut it short again??????
-Why can't I just be accepted to dental school already?
-I think that if I don't go to Hawaii next weekend I will go down to the Grand Canyon instead.
-I'm really excited to use my new toothpaste tonight.  Like, really.
-I have 3 new pairs of flipflops that need to be 'broken in'.
-  I'm glad that Bath & Body got new packaging.  It gives me an excuse to buy more stuff that I don't really need.
-I feel like I am in need of more random stuff.  I think I shall go to Target tomorrow.
-I'm feeling a little bit tired.  Maybe because I have been up since 5 AM!  So, now I will go to sleep.  (After listening to my new relaxation App that I downloaded on my luxury iPhone.)

Danilee out.

Yummy.

I will 'oh most definitely' be seeing the new Star Trek movie because this fine gentleman is in it.  He's way hot.  See more of him here.

*If anyone needs me tonight I'll be watching the 'Princess Diaries 2' and trying not to drool.

I need your help.

I have an addiction.  I am totally ok with this addiction, in fact it's a great one to have.  But, it tends to cause problems for me.  I have so many adorable Dooney & Bourke purses that I can't decide which one to carry around town.
I have been using this green one for the past few weeks and I LOVE it.  But, I get the feeling that my other purses are lonely and so it is time to switch.  I was looking through my purses this morning and I couldn't decide which one to get out of it's protective bag.  Then it dawned on me; ask your blog peeps.  So, please help me decide which bag I should use for the next couple of weeks.  (Please note that these are just the ones that I had in my closet, I'm too lazy to walk downstairs and get the rest.)  Please leave me a comment with your suggestion.  Thank you.
This is my 'graduation' bag.  It is probably my fav, but I'm also nervous about getting it dirty.
I love this one that my friends got me for graduation, it's big and waterproof.  Perfect for this crazy weather.
Ok, obviously this one is a package deal.  The bag has seen better days, but it does have a matching umbrella for those 'April showers'.  Plus the matching watch and rolly-bag are perfect for my jet-setting lifestyle.
I have only ever used this one a hand-ful of times.  It's pretty small, but it has a matching watch which I love.
This bag has been everywhere.  It's fun and roomy.
I love this one, but it's probably better for the fall.
This is my 'special occasion' bag.  Good thing I have the matching wallet and watch.  Now, I just need somewhere fancy to go!

Ok, hurry and tell me which one to use.  I'll switch next weekend.
