I always go through the 'Expert Traveler' line at the airport.

I'm alive. Just in case any of you were wondering. I think that I travel more than any person I know.  I just don't like to be stuck in Utah for long periods of time.  And, since I try and be on vacation for as long as possible, I usually come back the night before I work for a long week.  As I sit here typing this I am forcing myself not to fall asleep.  I'm tired out.  Luckily, I work at a luxury office that isn't open on Fridays.  Yay for me.

So, let me tell you about my Texas adventure (This is mainly a recap for my life coach, because I know she was very upset that she couldn't just abandon Don for the week and come play with us).  I had a random stop in New Mexico coming and going.  It didn't look like a very exciting place to be.  When I got to Dallas I was greeted by my wonderful cousin, Jenn Jenn, and the kiddies.  We went to Savvy's first gymnastics class and she very much enjoyed it.  Then we went home and did luxury things.  We had a lot of fancy things to buy for Savvy's birthday, so there were many trips to Target and the party store.  I am always good for a good shopping day.  On Wednesday, the girlies both went to preschool so Jenn and I went and got facials and went to a very fancy restaurant for lunch and then we went to the mall.  (Of course I stopped by the Sephora and bought stuff I didn't 'need'.)  They have a very luxury mall in Dallas.  It made me jealous.  Whatever.  Also, one day Savvy and I went and got a 'Sprinkles' cupcake.  I was rather disappointed because they didn't seem to have many cupcakes with actual sprinkles.  Whatever.  Jenn and I watched 'The Bachelor' one evening.  It was 'amazing'.  Haha.  Then, on Saturday, Savvy had her 'Fancy Nancy' birthday party.  It was very fancy indeed.  I had a wonderful trip and I was very sad that I had to make a "bad decision" and come back to the real world.
Kitty Kate decided that she kind of liked me.

Ok, so I was in Dallas right after the inauguration.  One of Jenn's friends knew where George W. and Laura were going to be moving.  So, of course we had to do a drive by.  Sorry, the pic is a little fuzzy.  I was nervous that secret service would like come confiscate my iPhone, and heaven knows I would not be dealing with anything like that.

I love Dallas! I'm guessing you and jenn went to the Galleria Mall? I have to say it's one of my favorite malls to go shopping. I was visiting my best friend last year and I think we spent a whole day there. I'm glad you had a great time! You should go to Corpus Christi next time you go to Texas. My mom would love to have and your sisters come visit.

Thanks for the update Danielle! We *loved* having you here . . .

Nicole - While the Galleria is a *great* mall - and we love it, we love North Park even more - very very glam (and only 5 minutes from the house). The Galleria is a good 15 minutes away . . .

AND WTH? You come to Dallas and don't even *CALL* me Nicole?? You are so busted! ;)kidding.

Danielle,

I know your life coach likes to know the goings on in your life, but I'm glad you post it on your blog so I can read it too! :) It looks like you had a lot of fun on your trip! I'd love to see some of your purchases (that is if your sisters don't swoop them away).

It is very luxury you got to see GW's house. I am proud that you did not get your iPhone taken away. I know how much you've been through with it.
