FYI

I just wanted to brag a little and say that I did pretty well this semester. I ended up with 3 A's and 3 B+'s. I now have a 3.6 GPA, which I would say is pretty impressive considering the fact that I'm a biology major and my classes have been HARD. So, please tell me that I did a good job and that all the studying was worth it.

Thank you.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Mixed Nuts, Huntington and BYU

So, I just got back from a wonderful weekend in Cali. (Sidenote: according to Chrissi I am not aloud to name a daughter California. Whatever to you.) It was so nice to get out of Utah, even if it was just for the weekend. My Jazz blew one of the games here, so they play game 5 tonight in Houston. It kind of sucks, but at least I get to watch more games. So, they day Jac and I left, Peter called me and said one of his roommates who's parents live around the corner from us was bringing something over. Peter got us all gifts, which was very nice of him. He got Jac a princess towel, Camille "AWKARD"marine and Gabs a Tinkerbell poster. He got me a can of mixed nuts. At first I was like WTF. Random. And then like 10 seconds later I totally bursted out laughing cause I got the inside joke.Peter came with me to my office Christmas Party (which was after Christmas, awkward!) back in December. We did a gift exchange, and everybody got each other nice gifts. I got a bunch of Bath & Body stuff, and so did a lot of other people. Then, one person opened their gift and it was just a can of mixed nuts. Everyone just sat there and it was very awkward. The person who gave the gift was like 'we decided to go small this year'. Ok, that's fine, but go small with a $5 gift card, so it doesn't make you look stupid. Peter and I gave each other 'the look'. Afterward on the way home that is all we talked about. It was seriously one of the funniest/awkward situations I have ever witnessed.
Jac and I went down to Huntington on Sunday. It was a beautiful day to cruise around with the top down. I drove all over and didn't get lost once. (Thanks to Don and his navigator thing.) I also think I have a natural navigation system in my head, so I guess that it doesn't really matter that the one in my BMW is busted.

On a side note, when I flew home last night I forgot to take my pepper spray out of my backpack to give to Jac before I left. I realized this about 2 hours later when I was on the plane. To my surprise, the TSA didn't even see it, which is really quite scary. I would have just thrown it away, but they didn't catch it. It makes you wonder what else is slipping through the cracks.
Finally, I started at BYU today. UGH. I am just not cut out for the BYU experience. There were a lot of BYU's down at Long Beach last night waiting to get on the plane and watching them made me sick. They are all like way too young to be married and having children. I saw a girl who I graduated high school with 3 years ago and she was married and pregnant. First, I was grossed out and then I just felt really sorry for her that she is like set with her life. I'm sure she's happy, but what could she have done in her life already, and now she's tied down for the next 30 years. I'm just very glad I'm not married right now, and especially not pregnant. I have a lot that I want to do and I think those things should be saved for later.

That's just my little rant. I promise I'm not anti-marriage or anti-children, I just want to go out and live my life for a while before I start down that path. Why oh why does going to BYU get me so agitated?? Haha. Go Jazz tonight!!

Where my Party People at??

So, it's 2 in the a.m. Jac and I are just hanging in my room studying for finals. Tomorrow a 1 I will be a very happy girl. Hopefully this will be the last all nighter I pull for quite a while. haha. Helping to get us through the night: diet coke, listening to 'Party People' by Nelly, and every now and then taking breaks to goof off. If only Jac would let me make a video right now, but she won't let me have her camera. It's probably good, cause we look scary. I am also trying to navigate BYU's website to get everything figured out for my 1 class I have to take this summer. It is SO confusing, I'm amazed that the BYU's can figure it out.

How many times can I post in one day?

I'm going for some kind of record or something. I've been studying for my Biochem final all day (not fun) and so I take breaks every now and then and apparently feel the need to update all of ya'll on my life, hour-by-hour.

So, I went to go take my BMW to get washed around 12. I go out, and guess what?? It won't start!!!! UGH. This is the problem that it has been having for the past 6 months. The brain surgeons at BMW said there is some kind of a parasitic leakage, but they ASSURED me that they fixed it last time. Well, apparently they didn't. R-tards!!!!!!!!!!

I'm slightly p.o.'d, but on the bright side I now just get to drive the Escalade, which is definitely luxury. Maybe I'll try to convince my Dad that I should really be driving his Porshce, with gas being so expensive and all. I'll let you know how that goes.......

For REAL???

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hWJkdUMiMw

I can't decide whether or not Kobe is actually jumping over this car. What do ya'll think??

Also, does anyone know how to put the actual video on your blog and not just the address??

Happy Birthday Mr. Naughty Business

Happy Birthday Gavin!!!! I hope you have fun at Legoland this weekend.

_EFENSE

The look on KK's face pretty much sums up how the Jazz felt about the game last night. I watched the 1st quarter, and then studied. It was that bad. But, I am actually happy that they lost. Even though they won't have home court advantage, they play Houston in the 1st round. And with Yao out, I think it'll be over in 5.

Spring Fever

So, I have my first final tomorrow morning. Instead of studying I:
-Got a pedicure. But, I did read through my Microbiology notes, which is somewhat productive.

-Took the Escalade to get washed because there was salt ALL over it from the unluxury snow yesterday. Gross.

-Went to Sonic, which is apparently the "Ultimate Drink Stop", to get a Diet Coke. Unfortunately we missed happy hour by like 20 minutes. Dang.

-Homeboyed it with Jac for a while.

-Now, I'll study for a little bit.

-Later, the Jazz play the Spurs in San Antonio. Yikes!

Jac said it is "cool" to do a video blog. So here is my first attempt.

I'm Leavin'

WARNING: Extremely RANDOM post ahead!
-When you google Luxury, this is the first pic that comes up.

-I can't wait to go back to Cali, even if it's just for the weekend. It snowed here again today. AWKWARD.

-Ok, so I NEVER get credit for discovering new songs that my sisters always end up loving later. (Having XM helps!!) I should get credit for Colbie Caillet, Sara Barielles and others. So, anyway, my new favorite "jam" is Leavin' by Jesse McCartney. You can't even buy it on iTunes yet (bummer), but you can listen to it on YouTube. I like it a lot.

-I'm in need of a new lip gloss. (Camille steals all of mine.) I LOVE the plumping gloss from Pout, it's seriously the best, but very hard to find.

-Proving that Camille does steal all of my things, I just went into my bathroom to get something and noticed that my make-up bag was gone. Sure enough, I went upstairs and guess where it was?? Just be warned, don't ever leave anything luxury around Camille, she will take it.

-Ok, now I am tired. I worked all day today. I put braces on a 16 year old boy from Eastern Europe who could hardly speak English, but he was very polite and thankful. It reminded me of how lucky I am to have been born in this country and all of the freedoms that come with it. (This is coming on tax day of all days!)

Flash Game

So, Jac and I had courtside seats to the Flash game on Saturday night. The Flash is the D-league counterpart of the Jazz, where my boy Morris Almond plays. Remember when I met him?? Yeah, so anyway, it was fun.
We ran into our friend Berklee, aka "Broccoli" and had to take a homeboy industries picture.Yeah, we were this close.

Here is Jac and I at the beginning of the game. Note, the fact that my hair was pretty much perfect. Here is some of the action.

Ok, this is when I got attacked by Flash the fox. It was highly unluxury. Not only did he totally ruin my hair, he totally invaded my personal bubble. And, if you know me well, you know that I DO NOT like ANYONE invading my personal bubble. I was rather annoyed. I'm just glad that they don't have a Jumbotron, because I totally would have been embarassed.

Not such a good end to the week

So, my week started very luxury. And it was actually a pretty good week. Only one test, a few quizzes and one project! But, yesterday pretty much was the worst day I've had since......December. So, the Jazz wasted the Hornets the other night (clinching the NW division for 2 years in a row), and I fully anticipated them doing the same in Dallas. But, no. They got off to a rough start, but toward the end I thought they had it for sure. Deron hit a miraculous 3-pointer with like 6 seconds left to tie the game, and then the Mavs inbounded the ball and "satelitted" it down to Dirk the Jerk, who hit a wide open, game winning 3. UGH!!! I was so mad, especially at my beloved KK. You don't leave last years MVP open at the end of the game. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?? I'm not bitter or anything, I promise. The playoffs are sure to be a very emotionally unstable time for me. Anyway, this is what else is new....

We have been remodeling FOREVER. We got new carpet in the dining and living rooms this week. It's hard to tell, but it's like a floral pattern. It is very soft and cushiony and luxury. It seems like whenever you do some remodeling, it leads to something else. It never ends.
Jenn, here is a pic of our kitchen. It's just the same cabinets. But, they've been redone. Also, my mom said that I should've cleaned the kitchen before taking pictures, but I didn't want to. So, excuse the mess.

The sink isn't done. The cabinets are being made to go underneath. We're not Spanish Fork.
I just wanted to take a picture of my clean car. I took it to the car wash yesterday because the weather had been pretty yucky all week. Then, I wake up this morning and it had snowed last night!! WHAT?
This is a pic of my bathroom floor, I like it. Except for that it is really cold in the morning.
Here is my D&B. I just love this one, cause it's big and I can throw EVERYTHING in there.
And here is another one that I have been using. It's cute too, and has little ants on the fabric!

And here's Camille and I being awkward. I just liked this shirt that Jac got for her bday. Haha.
OK, since this whole post is totally random, I decided to add one more thing. I really just love the Mr. Clean magic erasers with the Febreeze. I have cleaned the entire basement this week!
My plans for the weekend:
-take my Plant Physiology test
-volunteer at a Dental clinic tomorrow morning
-Watch the Jazz dominate the Nuggets
-Study lots for Finals
I hope ya'll have a good weekend!

Happy Birthday Jacqueline!!!!

It's Jacqueline's 19th Birthday today!!!! We went up and stayed at the Grand America and had a very luxury time. Here is a list of 19 reasons to love Jacqueline:

1. Homeboy Industries?? haha.
2. Happy Birthday Barbie!
3. When Jac was young she ALWAYS had a baba. And she had the nappiest hair, and a bugger nose. At least she had a good personality! Haha.
4. Jac had a very froggy voice when she was younger.
5. When we were in high school we would always go out to my car for lunch and just be away from the drama for 45 minutes. (I did this by myslef until Jac was in high school, and it was nice to have a lunch buddy.)
6. Helen and Anna Nicole. classic.
7. Jac will always tell me when my hair looks too "Utah Valley".
8. We do a lot of luxury things together everyday.
9. I like to go up to Jac's room and just sit there and bug her.
10. We have seen Michael Buble in concert twice.
11. We totally have a secret language. (ex: S.N. S.F. S.E. etc.)
12. Jac can pretty much make you laugh in any given situation.
13. She has one of the best laughs ever.
14. She goes through life thinking she is a Disney Princess.
15. She LOVES Disneyland. Seriously.
16. She finally got the dog that she has wanted her whole life.
17. We go to college together.
18. She is a whole lot of fun to be around.
19. She's my best friend and I'm really going to miss her this summer!

Guess who I met???

So, last night for Jac's B-day we went to the CPK at the Gateway. And then we went to the movie theatre there and saw 21. It was pretty good, except for the lady that let her little kid run around the movie theatre with the light up shoes. Seriously people, don't take your baby to a movie and certainly don't let them walk around.

And then we were going down the escalator, it's around 10 pm and there's hardly anyone around. I see these 2 really tall guys walking out of CPK and headed in our direction. I takes me all of 3 seconds to realize that it's Morris Almond, who recently just called up to the Jazz from the D-league. So I tell Jac, Madison and Camille and they're like you should ask him to take a picture. I was like no, I don't want to bug him. But, they were like you'll regret it if you don't. So, I was like "Hi, I don't want to bug you or anything, but is it ok if I get a picture?" He was like, "We're nobody special, but yeah I'll take a picture." To which I responded "Yeah right, I saw you knock down that 3 the other night!" He was so humble and sweet and really down to earth. He was so nice and took a pic with me. He just kept saying he wasn't anyone special and I said thanks, and that he was great.

So, he definitely was really nice. I hope that the Jazz keep him around for awhile, because I think he is going to develop into a fantastic player. (If Jerry would let him off the bench more often.) So, thanks a lot Morris or Mo? Idk what to call him. You totally made my night.

He was soooo tall. And please disregard the fact that it was late and I had just come out of a movie theatre and look like a bum.

BEST NIGHT EVER!!!

So, I went to the game last night. It was luxury and amazing. Our seats were like 5 rows behind the Jazz. The fact that I totally don't know how to take good pictures is very evident. I need help. So, I should have had good pics, but this is what I wound up with.
Poor Ronnie B. It's probably really hard for him to sit and watch. But, he totally needs to get better for the playoffs. Also, he's a sharp dresser and that's luxury.
KK's brothers were there. They look a lot like KK.
Ok, so I know that the mascot is the Jazz Bear, but there was this little Jazz Cub sitting in the front row. I don't know why and it was a bit creepy.
I was so into the game I completely forgot to take pics when the Jazz were shooting down on my end. Oh well.
Yeah, I was so close.

So, anyway here our my thoughts/observations on the game:

-I totally locked eyes with Memo, CJ and Fesenko (who is goofy and watches the crowd most of the game). I was giving CJ the "you're amazing, keep up the good work" look. And to Memo the "you have a funny haircut, but you're the Money Man" look.

-Getting 4 Korver's for the price of 1 is very luxury. Definitely worth the expensive ticket. Thanks Daddy!

-Andrei's wife sits across from the bench and does some kinds of weird sign language to him during the game.

-There are a lot of posers that sit in the lower bowl. Come on, you live in Utah. Get over yourself.

-The Jazz defense in the 3rd was AWESOME.

-I was surprised at how low scoring the Spurs were. 64 points??? Are we sure we weren't playing Miami last night?

-Unfortunately I didn't hear Jerry drop any F bombs. But, my neighbor and an older lady a few rows away had some rather interesting things to say. Also, did you hear the guys yelling out "Parker's a pussy"? Innapropriate. They should have been boo-ing Manu "The Effing Flopper" Ginobili.

-Did anyone else hear the chants for MVP when Deron was shooting free-throws? Of course I joined in. I think a lot more people read BBJ than we think.

-I yelled out "GO CJ!!" when he came off the bench. I know he heard me and totally knocked down a 3-pointer.

-I was really worried when Deron went back to the locker room at the end of the 1st because right after one of the trainers came out and headed into the stands. I thought maybe he was trying to find Deron's wife cause something was wrong. But, everything was fine and Deron came back and did his thing the rest of the game.

-AK played really well last night. He was more than half way to a triple double.

-Matt missing 4 lay-ups in the 4th quarter, even in a blow-out, is unacceptable.

-Jerry should have pulled Matt and put CJ in a lot earlier.

-I'm really scared for the game in San Antonio now. It'll either be amazing or terrifying.

-BEST part of the night, I got to high-5 Deron, AK, and KK when they walked into the tunnel. That's luxury.

Overall, it was an awesome game. I really don't think I'll go again this year unless I can get 1st row tickets because not much could beat my seats from last night!!

I was thinking that this will probably be the last Jazz game I attend for like 5 years, not because I wouldn't love to go, but because I'll be in Dental school far away. That makes me sad. But, there's alway Christmas break. And at least it ended on a very high note. Good game boys, and thanks for not breaking my heart.

P.S. My mom and sister totally saw my Dad and I on t.v. That's luxury.

Senior Sluff Day

So, since I ended up staying up most of the night, and I still was nervous this morning, I decided to skip class today! I'm just at home studying for this dang test. And, this is the first day I've missed ALL semester. Pretty good, right? Plus, I'm a senior and am entitled to one day of freedom. I just wish I was doing something fun.

I hope all 3 of you (haha) have a wonderful weekend!! I know I will.....

In the middle of the night....

So, I just like to be up all hours of the night. Not really, but I'm such a nervous pervous (thank you Simpson's movie) about my biochem test tomorrow that I can't calm down enough to sleep. I think I have problems. Ugh. And, there is absolutely nothing to do during the middle of the night. Everyone is asleep. Boring. Anywhoo, there is a possibility of attending a certain Jazz game tomorrow. My dad can get me AMAZING tickets, but I'm almost afraid to go. They should win, but if they were to loose, I just don't know if I could handle it. But, the tix are like right behind the Jazz bench, so I could offer lots of encouragement. I just don't know what to do.

On another completely random tangent, I think that sometimes I would like to write more substantial things on my blog. I will try to do so this weekend. I need to let out my feelings!! Haha. No, I just want to blogosphere to know how I feel about some things.

ZTF tomorrow!!!!! (actually today, since it's 1 in the morning)

Update: Why does the time on my blog think that I'm on Pacific time. Oh yeah, because it is my brain sending messages that I SHOULD be in Cali and not in this forsaken land of snow.

Bleeding Love

So, I have been listening to Leona Lewis' 'Bleeding Love' over and over for the past few days. It takes a couple of times to get into it, but then seriously I can't stop listening. So, ya'll should check it out.

Also, no matter what anyone else says I KNOW that D. Will is a better PG than CP3. I really could go off on this for like an hour, but I'm sure that none of you even care. But, I just want you to be informed so that if anyone ever asks you who is better, all you need to say is "8>3". End of debate.
